Administrative structure of Girlguiding UK
Girlguiding UK is divided for administrative purposes into 9 areas, these are:
The 3 Countries:
- Girlguiding Scotland
- Girlguiding Ulster
- Girlguiding Wales
The 6 Regions of England:
- Girlguiding Anglia
- Girlguiding London and South East England
- Girlguiding Midlands
- Girlguiding North East England
- Girlguiding North West England
- Girlguiding South West England
And Girlguiding British Guides in Foreign Countries.
Girlguiding BGIFC has its own structure:
The Counties:
- Girlguiding Benelux & France
- Girlguiding Cyprus
- Girlguiding Germany
Units in other places are grouped, wherever possible, into Independent Districts. If not, they are Independent Units and are, like the Independent Districts, looked after directly by the BGIFC Commissioner and the Girlguiding BGIFC Office at CHQ.
Girlguiding BGIFC has an office, which is at Commonwealth Headquarters (CHQ) in London. The paid Administrator is part of the Guiding Development Department, on the third floor.
